Signature Leasing customers who want
to reduce the time and resources associated with issuing payments
for their leasing bills have discovered the benefits of electronic
payment.
With today's technology, electronic forms of
payment are safe and efficient ways to transfer funds. And
Signature Leasing is making every effort to accommodate customers
who want to use these types of services.
Customers actually have two methods of utilizing
electronic forms of payment:
· Signature's direct payment program
is a customer authorized payment system that enables Signature
Leasing to electronically withdraw funds from the customer's
bank account through the National Automated Clearing House
Association (NACHA). Once the funds are taken out of the customer's
checking account, they are immediately applied to their lease
rental balance.
· Signature has the ability to receive
Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, as well. Any
customer who does not want to have their account charged for
lease rental payments or prefers to directly handle the transaction
can utilize this service in which the customer manages and
initiates the electronic funds transfer through their bank.
Many larger customers use this method of payment because of
its efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Those who want to submit their lease rental
payments via ACH must contact their bank about using this
service. A bank account representative should have the necessary
forms and information to initiate this type of payment.
The biggest advantage an electronic payment
method offers the customer is convenience. Because the entire
transaction is paperless, all the customer has to do is review
his or her lease statement and enter the payment date and
amount in their checkbook register. Electronic payment methods
eliminate the need to input data, issue a check or mail related
documents. Fees are typically nominal or often waived. Electronic
payment methods also promptly apply lease rentals, so late
charges are never a concern. Plus, customers still have the
ability to dispute any discrepancies on their invoices.
